She grew up in a family, in which art and collecting played an important role for generations. After a short trip into political science at university, she finished her Master in art history at the LMU Munich in 1993. Positions in public and private museums followed, like the Goetz Collection, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Her PhD thesis, a catalogue raisonée on the early work of Juan Uslé, was supported by a grant from the DAAD and written in cooperation with the artist and his studio in New York.

Positions in the commercial art world at wellknown international galleries and auction houses like e.g. the Tanit Gallery Munich/Beyrouth, the Dorotheum and Ketterer Auctions followed, just to name a few. From 2014 to 2020 she was curatorial director at Tanit Gallery Munich/Beyrouth and in may 2020, she left Tanit Gallery to join Knust x Kunz Gallery Editions as Associate Advisor and Curator.

Curatorial projects, artist talks and studio visits continue to be an ongoing practice, paralelled by independent art advice due to the growing request in a complex global online and offline art market. Due to the increasing digitization, enabling new distribution channels in conjunction with a progressing concentrations, she decided to expand her activity - besides the conception and planning of exhibitions and the support of artists – into advising collectors of emerging as well as established collections.

In cooperation with partners and selected sponsors she has been curating exhibition projects since 2005, most notably with Kat Schuetz and the initiative nurjungekunst.de. Besides artist talks and studio visits, promising young talents were shown. In the meantime, several of them have launched international careers and are represented by renown galleries. She also writes texts for catalogs and exhibitions and participates as art prize jury member.
